LINE CHEF: 3 Tips You Need To Succeed

Tip 1: Prepare in Advance
Like most time management game, able to plan for the future one of the skills that you need to hone.

There usually be some time at the beginning of the stage for you to prepare your food. Click on dishes that required more cooking time first.

Dishes that wouldn't burn after preparing should be click on before the item is used up. Don't wait till it is used up then click! Since there is no penalty for preparing the dishes, click on it whenever you have the time or when you used up 1 out of 3 of the dish.

Usually there is some fixed combination that you can prepare in advance. For example, for Pasta Away Restaurant, Toast and eggs often come together, prepare in advance using one plate while leaving 2 more plates for more variation.

Tip 2: Upgrading
Upgrade count items first then time items. When you can't seems to overcome a score stage, then it's time to start to upgrade the score items. So the sequence should be:

  1. Count
  2. Time
  3. Score

Upgrade the main dish first, which is usually the first stage items. Leave the drinks to the last until you come to a stage whereby many customers order drink or if you have some cash to spend. Most of the time, the side dish will be ordered more often then the drinks.

When a new item appear, there will be a stage where many customers will order that dish with the item. By upgrading the number of kitchen utensils and plate, you will be able to pass the stage easily.

Tip 3: Be Aware of the Mission and Parameters
The strategies you need to use will slightly changed based on the type of mission (Like, Serve and Score stage) and parameters (cannot burn food, cannot throw away food, can not have angry customer).

Be aware of parameters can help you prevent failing of stages. This is because it can help you to make a better decision. For example, for stage that don't allow you to throw away food but wouldn't penalise you for burning your food, you may choose to just let the food get burned when needed.

Don't worry if your food gets burned

Likewise, if the stage allow you to throw away food but not burning your food, you may choose to throw away the wrongly prepared food away to give way to the readied to serve dish.
Can throw away unwanted food

Keeping the type of mission in mind will let you prioritise the needs.

For example:
-score stage, prioritise combo number over the number of happy customers you have.
-like stage, prioritise the number of happy customers over the combo number.

Take a look at my another blog post ( about the strategies taken for the 3 different types of mission here.

Use the appropriate Buddy to make it easier for you to pass the stage.
