Shopping Experience in Bangkok 2019
Most Worthwhile Shopping Mall: Terminal 21
Terminal 21 have different theme at each level, making it a place where you can take ton of pictures.
If you like T-shirt with cute design, you can find some here too. But most clothes are mid-price range.
Cheapest (and nice) clothes: Chatuchak Market
There is one shop that sells t-shirts for 60 baht. However, she don't allow us to bargain even when we bought 3 shirts. But the clothes is cheap enough so we bought it anyway.Do note that the cutting of the armhole of the grey sleeveless shirt isn't really good. The cutting is lower than normal armhole, and the cloth at the front armhole, near the chest area, will protrude out.
The following was common in Bangkok:
- Many T-shirts with cute design at an affordable price (below 200 baht).
- Fruit flavour hand-made soap
- Essence sticks
- Undergarments
- Denim material clothing (is cheaper in bangkok)
However, they don't have the following:
- Long wallet
- Knee length vest
- Cheap Sneakers (below S$10)
- Cheap, comfortable and trendy sandals (below S$10)

Lesson learnt:
- 4 hours of shopping was our limit.
- Shopping under the sun will really diminish the desire to shop.
- Foot massage is really necessary.
- Prices at Airport was really expensive, so don't leave your souvenir shopping (eg. Boots shopping) till than.
- Don't think clothing in Bangkok is always cheap. 100 baht clothing was not very common. Usually those stylish piece will be more expensive and you can easily get it online at the same price or even cheaper.
There were indeed many stalls in Bangkok. It wasn't a fruitful trip as we were very self-disciplined adults, buying what we really need than what we think is nice.
I think shopping in Bangkok will be more suitable for 24 years old and below where they will need more T-shirts in their wardrobe.
